The NuSkool Addiction
The t-shirt resembles a pack of Marlboro cigarettes, melting from acid. The design is promoting music over smoking tobacco.
The popular Acid House t-shirt, resembles a popular American brand of cigarettes, in it’s iconic red box. The twist, is that the box appears to be melting (or bleeding) as the red colored top drips down its sides. It reeds “Acid House.” The gold label describes that the box contains “303 Filtered Bass Music,” AKA, Acid House music. 303, is a short-form of, and reference to the TB-303, the legendary, rare, analog device that ignited the underground genre.

In theory, the half-tee concept is pretty ridiculous and usually really bad. It only works if somebody really cool is wearing one. Like Rihanna. This crop t-shirt is Pink Acid™ neon with a White Dove logo that reeds Rave instead of Dove.

This is our first crop tank top for Acid Unicorn® Girls™. I actually started with standard length neon yellow (acid yellow) racerback tanks, but I decided to crop and hemmed each top myself. The the lightweight jersey fabric is a soft-stretch blend of 60% cotton and 40% Polyester. The soft UV-reactive fabric is amazingly versatile too. Light, bright, citrus yellow In the daylight, but glows a vivid neon color under black lights.
Note the detailed photograph of a woven garment label, attached at an inside seem. This would’ve been in addition to the standard silkscreened label at the back neck.
Thanks to some prompt, community feedback, we decided not to use them for final production. We learned that (regardless how they actually feel) the tags are perceived as itchy or uncomfortable.

Hot off his much-lauded The Fall EP on Turbo proper, here Milano reveals himself as a floor-banging wildboy in the most serious sense of the term. “I11uminated” replaces letters with numbers and working minds with thrusting gonads, “Final Shift” dumps a lifetime’s worth of high-end studio gear into the peak-time quicksand, and “Ejected” dwarfs even the most brazen festival anthems with what sounds suspiciously like an analog zuzuvela.
Twin Turbo. We do the things other labels won’t, won’t we? You bet we will.
Terry Mullan— New School Fusion 1995
As much as the future inspires me, and the things I design, so are the timeless milestones that we tread. This is one of my very favorite mix tapes from the mid 90’s by Chicago native DJ/producer Terry Mullan. Quintessential, warehouse dance music. Floor-jacking percussion, dripping with acid bass lines at a peak, big room cadence. I lost the cassette around 2003, and I was pissed. Thank you Soundcloud!
